Product Description

The TRIDOL S6 foam is an extinguishing foaming agent, based on synthetic fluocarbon, from the AFFF. It is classified OACI level B. The TRIDOL S first operates like classic foams by providing a foam layer which isolates the oxygen from the air. This foam, destroying itself, produces an aqueous film on the surface of hydrocarbon liquid fuels. It contributes to a rapid vapour suppression. It is especially designed to fight against oil spills fires.

Designed to :

  • Interventions against aircraft or helicopter fires,
  • Loading ramps and other hydrocarbon distribution facilities,
  • Retention basins of oil-based fuels,
  • Protection of the engine room bilges of ships,
  • Doping of the water spray fixed or sprinklers installations,
  • Additive for water fire-extinguishers.

Features

General characteristics :

  • Material : synthetic
  • Low expansion : 7.5
  • Drainage 25% : 2 min 30
  • Medium expansion : 70
  • Drainage 50% : 4 min 00

Weight : 0.99 kg/l

Benefits of the product

  • Speed of action
  • Low rate of application hence the water consumption is significantly reduced
  • Resistance to contamination by hydrocarbons
  • Possibility to spray the foam with violence on the surface of the hydrocarbons
